We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our WordPress agency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and ensuring the success of their WordPress websites.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to our clients via phone, email, and chat
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with WordPress websites, including plugin and theme conflicts, hosting issues, and other technical problems
- Communicate technical information to non-technical clients in a clear and concise manner
- Work collaboratively with our development team to resolve complex technical issues
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of client issues and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction
- Identify and escalate emerging technical issues to the appropriate team members
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and keep up-to-date with the latest WordPress developments and best practices
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in technical support or a related field
- Familiarity with WordPress and its ecosystem, including themes, plugins, and hosting environments
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with popular WordPress page builders such as Elementor and Beaver Builder
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service orientation and commitment to client satisfaction
Additional Qualifications (optional):
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce
- Knowledge of website performance optimization and security best practices
- Familiarity with popular hosting platforms such as SiteGround and WP Engine
- Experience with CRM and help desk software such as Freshdesk and HubSpot
